A trade expo the fire industry has been missing
Fire protection has always had strong conference culture — Fire Australia earlier this year in Melbourne was proof of that. What it hasn't had is a dedicated trade marketplace: a floor built around the products, tools, and services the industry actually runs on, from detection and suppression through to the maintenance regimes that keep systems compliant for decades.
Fire Security Expo, launched by Diversified Australia with the Fire Industry Alliance as association partner, is built to fill that gap. It runs co-located with the Security Exhibition & Conference — in its fortieth year — and Integrate, which puts fire, security, AV, and connected-building technology under one roof at ICC Sydney. That co-location is the interesting part. The industry conversation all year has been about systems integration over silos; this is the first Australian trade floor laid out the same way.
